The T.R.A.P.S. control panel monitors the entire system and logs all events. The control panel communicates with existing PLC's logging and monitors both high and high level alarms.

The hydrocarbon sensors and existing high level alarms trigger several events.

  • Upon a high or high high level alert, the containment valve immediately closes
    • Once a high and/or high high level alert takes place, the valve associated with filling the tank begins closure and is completely closed within the required limits.
  • If a hydrocarbon sensor within the containment area detects fuel then the valve to the containment area is closed immediately and the valve associated with filling that particular tank is closed within a desired time frame.
The flexibility of the system allows for customized design for each client as needed.
Additional alert notifications can be installed. The system can send notification to light and /or audible devices while paging, call or emailing the required information.
