| T.R.A.P.S. is designed to hold five minutes of maximum pumping used to fill the tank. This can be adjusted to meet special needs or requirements. |
| The design of the system consists of several items. Once a containment volume is determined, an engineering team will design the layout of the containment area that best meets the overall site layout. Current elevation and natural drainage for the tank farm is considered. |
| Additionally, the electronics and controls placement is determined to best suit the needs of the site layout. |
